A common candidate for the next presidential election?

Venerable Maaduluwaave Sobhitha Thero says that if the present Government and the UNP do not make a fair intervention with regard to abolishing the Executive Presidency, a common candidate would be put forward for abolishing the executive presidency.


Expressing his views on this occasion, Western Provincial Council Minister Udaya Gammanpila said that a problem about the executive presidency had occurred due to the way it had been implemented in the country.
