Colombo Law faculty temporarily closed.

The administration of the Colombo Law faculty has decided to close the faculty until the 10th of this month due to a risk of dengue.


The decision was taken following recommendations given by the Colombo Municipal council chief medical officer to the vice Chancellor of the faculty.


Following an inspection carried out by the health officials of the CMC it was revealed that the 3rd floor of the law faculty building contained water leaked from a gutter and they also found dengue mosquito larvae.


A special programme will be launched today at the faulty to clean the environment.
