Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne in China on a 4 day state visit

Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne arrived at Wangshi International airport in the Quangming Province for a 4 day state visit.


A group of officials of the Chinese Foreign Ministry led by Deputy Governor of the Wangshi Province Ding Shao Shiang was at the airport to receive the Sri Lanka Premier.


The Prime Minister is scheduled to open an Import Export International Exhibition in Quangming province tomorrow.


Premier’s Media Unit stated that several bilateral talks are also scheduled between the Prime Minister and Chinese authorities.
