Sri Lanka Police will have its information and communication system enhanced with modern technology at a cost of 2.876 billion rupees.

 

According to the government, the Police need to enhance its information and communication system to assist and serve the public efficiently and effectively and to create a peaceful environment for the public to live without fear of crime and violence.
