More threats to the Teacher who was forced to kneel down by Provincial Councillor

The Ceylon Teachers Union says that the teacher who was forced to kneel down by UPFA Wayamba Provincial Councillor Ananda Sarath Kumara is now facing threats to her life.


Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers Union Joseph Starlin stated that another group had arrived at her residence last night and behaved in a threatening manner.




The husband of the Teacher stated that they had lodged a complaint with the Nawagaththegama Police over the incident.




UPFA provincial councillor Ananda Sarath Kumara who forced a lady teacher of the Isuru Vidyalaya in Nawa-gaththe-gama to kneel down due to disciplinary action she had taken against a student at the school was arrested last afternoon.
