UNP wants Interpol assistance in Vaas Gunawardana investigations.

Parliament convened today at 1pm under the patronage of speaker Chamal Rajapkse.


UNP MP Dayasiri Jayasekara raised a question regarding the Sri lankan cricket team currently touring England.


Minister Dinseh Gunawardana replied in the following manner.




UNP MP Sajith Premadasa raising a question in parliament stated that there are no government MP’s to answer questions raised in Parliament by opposition MP’s.




The UNP told in parliament today that the government should obtain the assistance of the Interpol with regard to the investigations carried out in connection with the former Western North DIG Vass Gunawardana.
