Sri Lankans in UK can contact High Commission regarding their safety

The Ministry of External Affairs instructs Sri Lankan’s residing in the UK to direct their complaints regarding their personal safety to the Sri Lankan High Commission in the country.


This was following the recent clash which occurred between pro-LTTE supporters & several Sri Lankans during a match at Cardiff played between Sri Lanka & India.


When inquired from the Additional secretary & Media Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs Rodney Perera concerning the security measures implemented to safeguard Sri Lankans living in the UK he had this to say.
