Investigations commence into cricketers unruly behaviour on airline

Sri Lanka Cricket has decided to hold an inquiry regarding a Sri Lankan “A” team cricketer who attempted to open a cabin door of a passenger aircraft at 35,000 feet while being under the influence of alcohol.


Issuing a media communiqué today, Sri Lanka Cricket stated that an inquiry will be held based on a report submitted by the team’s manager.


The communiqué also stated that disciplinary action will be taken against the particular cricketer if he was found guilty.
