Gamunu Wijerathna's bus strike concludes.

The strike initiated by the Lanka Private Bus Owners Association from midnight was called off a few hours ago.


The chairman of the LPBOA, Gemunu Wijerathne stated that the association decided to call the strike off at 9.30 this morning owing to the threats made by transportation officials.




Our news team inquired from the minister of Private Transportation Services C. B. Rathnayaka regarding the allegation that the strike was suppressed.




Meanwhile, the All Island Private Bus Owners Association Federation’s Secretary Anjana Priyanjith stated that the LPBOA exhibited its failure through this strike
