Lanka Piriven Teachers Service Association said that the student monks who sat the mid year term test faced much inconveniences after they came across some abnormal questions in their question papers.

The Teachers Association has written to the Education Minster with this regard and stated that there were several mistakes in the Pali question papers given to the candidates of all grades on July 23rd.

President of the Lanka Piriven Teachers Service Association Wakamulle Uditha Thera said that these mistakes were not only an embarrassment to the student monk candidates but also an insult to Buddhism.

Our news team contacted the Acting Piriven Education Director Watinaa-paha Somananda Thera to comment on this issue.

Later the Thera said that the mistakes were reported to him and steps will be taken to investigate the mistakes.
