Tamil Nadu’s Hindu People’s Party requests the State government and the Central government, to hoist the Indian National flag on August 15th.

Addressing reporters, Hindu People’s Party Chairman Arjun Sampath said yesterday that although the Kachchativ isle had been handed over to Sri Lanka through an agreement, the Indian fishermen had the right to use it.

However they show a reluctance to enter it.

Therefore the Tamil Naadu political party requests that the Indian National flag be hoisted in it to show India’s rights of the isle.

The Hindu People’s Party leader said that his party activists would take action to hoist the Indian flag in the Kachchativ isle if the State government or the Central government did not intervene.
