Islam devotees celebrate Ramadhan today

The Ramazaan Festival which Muslim devotees celebrate devoutly falls today.


Issuing a communiqué in view of this, President Mahinda Rajapaksa conveys his best wishes to Muslim devotees.


Similarly the President says that Muslim community is happy that they are able to carry out their religious observances in a peaceful environment without any obstacle.


Similarly the President pointed out in his message the Ramazaan Feast is a valuable opportunity for remembering the Muslim community’s contribution to the country’s progress.


Releasing a message in view of the Ramazaan Feast Prime Minister D. M. Jayaratne offers his best wishes to Muslim devotees.


The Prime Minister points out that the Muslim community’s contribution is great specially for developing the country economically while living religiously.


Meanwhile releasing  a Ramazaan Festival message Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe offers his greetings to Muslim devotees.


The Opposition Leader points out that patience, kindness, and brotherhood that the Muslim devotees inculcate by fasting are righteous virtues that could be made available to the world.
