British High Commissioner in Sri Lanka John Rankins urged the overstaying Sri Lankans to return home voluntarily.

The United Kingdom has introduced a new program to send illegal immigrants to their home countries.

A frequently asked question from the High Commissioner was whether such illegal immigrants; if returned under this scheme, be able to tour in the United Kingdom in the future.

Appearing in a video program on the British High Commission Official website, High Commissioner John Rankins replied to the question.
