The TNA says that India has a democratic right to decide whether to participate or not participate at the Commonwealth Summit scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka in November.

Former TNA MP M. K. Sivaajilingam said that the Summit would not yield any fruition to the country’s Tamil community.

The Sri Lankan and Indian Tamil community expect the 13th amendment to be fully implemented.

The TNA says that the Tamil parties in Tamil Nadu have impacted on the Indian Central Government for this.

Former MP Sivaajilingam said that India had the possibility to boycott the Commonwealth Summit held in the country in this context.
