Opposition leader to India

Opposition leader Ranil Wickramasinghe is scheduled to depart for India for a 3 day official visit day after tomorrow.

The objective of this visit is to engage in discussions with high level Indian leaders before the Indian Parliamentary session concludes.

The opposition leader will meet with the leaders of the Congress party as well as the leaders of the opposing Barathiya Janatha Party during his visit.

In addition reports state that the Opposition Leader Ranil Wickramasinghe will also meet with high level Indian state officials and engage in special discussions.
