Nisha Desai Biswal who was named by US President Barak Obama as US Assistant State Secretary for South Asian Affairs told the Senate that the Lankan government should adopt a home grown mechanism to achieve this goal.

She said however America is prepared to seek an international action if the Lankan government fails to respond optimistically.
