More details found on 100 million rupees out dated food stock seized in Kotahena.

The Consumer Affairs Authority suspects that certain goods belonging to the haul of goods found in the Kotahena region worth 100 million rupees may have been released to the market.


This haul of goods includes numerous types of goods including Yeast, Sauce and vegetable oil.


The owner of the firm that sold these goods is currently abroad.


Speaking to our news team the head of the special raids unit of the Consumer Affairs Authority that carried out this raid A. A. Jasoor stated that steps have been taken to summon the individual in question back to Sri Lanka today for further questioning.
