President Mahinda Rajapakse paid homage to the Temple of the Tooth Relic this morning.

The presidential media unit stated that after paying homage to the Temple of the Tooth Relic the president also engaged in conversation with the other devotees.

In addition the President Rajapakse also inspected the reconstruction activities that are ongoing at the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

The presidential media unit also stated that the president paid homage to Venerable Thibbotuwawe Medankara Thero and obtained his blessings.
