Elections commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya states that apart from several minor incidents the provincial council election was held peacefully.

 

Elections commissioner addressing a media briefing yesterday at the elections secretariat stated that the highest vote percentage is reported from Vauniya district and the lowest is reported from the Puthlam district.

 

Elections commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya also thanked everybody who helped to conduct the election in a peaceful manner.
