Cannot forgive.- Election Commissioner says about Puttalam polling cards.

Election Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya says that he will see to it that action is taken in a manner that no injustice is done to anyone with regard to the stock of polling cards recovered from the counting centre at the Puttalam St. Andrew’s College.


The commissioner said that he would take legal action against all officers who were at the relevant centre according to the powers vested on him.


Elections commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya arrived at the scene last evening.


At that time a heated situation occured between the commissioner and the candidates who had gathered there.
