A protest for and against UNP leadership - many changes in the UNP in future.

United National Party parliamentarian Harin Fernando states that several changes may take place within the party next week.


MP Fernando made this statement while speaking at a press conference held in Colombo today.


Meanwhile, 2 individuals hailing from the Matale – Pallewela region is engaging in a fast unto death in front of the Matale clock tower since 7 this morning demanding that the current UNP leader Ranil Wickramasinghe should resign from party leadership.


However, another protest supporting the party leadership was held in front of the party headquarters in Sirikotha today.
