No+danger+of+an+imminent+collapse+of+National+Dengue+eliminating+program.

The Health Ministry says that there is no any danger of an imminent collapse of the National Dengue Eliminating Program as claimed by certain propaganda

groups.

These propaganda claims that the National Dengue Eliminating Program Acting Director and other doctors attached to the Unit are preparing to withdraw from the Program.

However the Ministry stated that Dengue Eliminating Program Acting Director Dr. Udaya Ranasinghe has requested the Ministry Secretary to release him from the Program as he has over work as Director of the Anti Filarial Unit.

 

The Ministry also stated that no other doctor attached to the Unit has withdrawn from the Unit and there is no such danger of an imminent collapse of the Dengue Eliminating Unit.
