Sri Lanka target a trilingual nation by the year 2020

Sri Lanka has set a target to make the country a trilingual nation by the year 2020.


Under the governments trilingual policy state sector public employees are required to be bilingual.


Accordingly, during the first six months of this year, over 25,000 public officials have received Tamil Language training.
