Boat strays into Lankan waters, one missing

Two out of the 500-odd fishing boats from Rameswaram, which ventured into the sea on Wednesday morning failed to return.


While one of the boats is reportedly stranded in Sri Lankan waters due to a technical snag, the others whereabouts are yet to be known.


According to Times of India four of the fishermen who strayed into Sri Lanka have been lodged at the Neduntheevu police station for interrogation.
