Newly appointed Chief Ministers of the North Western and Central Provincial Councils Dayasiri Jayasekera and Sarath Ekanayake paid homage to the Temple of the Tooth relic to receive the blessings today.


Our correspondent said that the duo paid a courtesy call on the Chief Prelate of the Malwatu Chapter Most Venerable Tibbatuwawe Sumangala Thera and received the blessings of the Maha Sangha.


Later Central Provincial Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayake addressing the media said that the responsibility of all the elected members to the PC is to serve the people.
