The Disaster Management Centre requests the public to pay attention to fires erupting at forest areas.

 

Fires were reported from Somawathiya, Castle-reigh and Moneragala areas due to dry weather conditions in the area.

 

Deputy Media Director of the DMC Sarath Lal Kumara stated that human activities were the main reason for these fires.
