A cut off penis successfully rejoined

A penis that was cut off from the human body has been re-joined successfully by a group of plastic surgeons of the Colombo National Hospital.


Colombo National Hospital sources said that 9 doctors attached to the Plastic Surgery Unit performed the operation for 12 hours to affix the completely separated male organ into the man’s body.


Head of the Plastic Surgery Unit Dr. Duleep Perera and his deputy Dr. Dhammika Dissanayake believed the operation could be the first of its kind in the country.
