Top Govt officers to be sent to the village to look into issues - President.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that top Government officers would be sent to the village to look into the problems of the village.


The President said that decisions taken at discussions held in Colombo providing relief to people were sometimes not implemented properly at village level.


President Mahinda Rajapaksa said so at a discussion held at Presidential Secretariat yesterday with woman entrepreneurs engaged in small and medium scale enterprises.


On this occasion the President said that Government officers were doing an injustice to people by not carrying out their duties properly and  that he would take all steps possible to prevent this situation.
