Let there be no distinction as students who passed or failed; President says about scholarship.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa says that dealing with students as those who passed or failed the scholarship exam should soon change.


The President points out that some parents had punished even students who had got high marks at the scholarship examination this time considering them to be failures.


The President said that a systematic methodology should be developed for protecting children from such incidents.


President Mahinda Rajapaksa expressed these views while participating in the annual prize-giving of the Sumangala Vidyaalaya in Panadura yesterday.
