Stern action against Sri Lankan migrant workers leaving without proper documents

Bureau of Foreign Employment says that it will take stern legal action against migrant workers who attempt to leave the country for foreign employment without proper documents.


Deputy General Manager of the Bureau Mangala Randeniya has said that the authorities will strictly check the visas and work permits of the migrant workers at the airport before they board a plane.


The move is aimed at preventing Sri Lankan workers leaving for foreign employment illegally.
