36 university students who went to Hanthana hospitalized.

A group of Peradeniya University students who had gone to cross the Hanthaana mountain range was attacked by wasps at the Hanthaana mountain top yesterday.


The police said that at that time there were 259 students at the mountain top.


Thirty-six students injured by the wasp attack were admitted to the Peradeniya hospital.


A hospital spokesperson said that 35 of them were still receiving treatment as indoor patients.
