Inspections on food and beverage outlets in Sri Lanka during the Food Safety Week

The Health Ministry plans to conduct inspections on food and beverage outlets in the country during the Food Safety Week.


The Ministry is planning a crackdown on outlets that sell substandard food items during the week starting from today.


The Health Ministry has announced that Physical Health Inspectors, Medical Officers of Health and other health officials have been instructed to conduct special raids during a period of one week.
