UPFA+PS+member+sentenced+to+7+years+rigorous+imprisonment

 

Rathnasiri Kaluperuma, a United People’s Freedom Alliance member of the Beruwala Pradeshiya Sabha, who was charged with molesting an underage boy in the Mathugama region, was sentenced to 7 years rigorous imprisonment today by the Kalutara High Court.

 

Following the sentencing, the Kalutara High Court Judge Amal Thillakarathne also ordered the PS member to pay 600,000 rupees as compensation to the boy in question.
