Chief Ministers asked to participate in the Cabinet meeting.

The President Office has informed Chief Ministers of all Provincial Councils to participate in the Cabinet meeting tomorrow.


Answering our news team enquiry, a government spokesman said that the President has powers to summon Chief Ministers to the Cabinet.


Before the recent Provincial Council elections, Chief Ministers had participated in the last Cabinet meeting of the month in order to discuss the Cabinet papers that were submitted with regard to the respective Provincial Councils.


However this trend was discouraged later as Chief Ministers were absent in the Cabinet meeting during the Provincial Council elections
