Nuwara Eliya District Secretary D.P.G. Kumarasiri advised the tourists to take caution when observing the rare flower species called Nelu in the Horton Plains.


Growing in the Horton Plains of Nuwara Eliya, this rare flower species grows only once every 14 years.


Kumarasiri requests the visitors to observe this spectacle of nature without harming the surrounding environment.
