Yet another lorry with explosives found in Vavuniya.

The police recovered 13 kilogram’s of C-4  explosives  and 36 detonators from yet another lorry apprehended in Vavuniya during the war.


The police media spokesman’s office said that this lorry had been found when it was abandoned at a vehicle check point in Vavuniya in 2007.


This lorry had been parked at an army camp in the area.


However based on a tip-off the Terrorism Investigation Division received recently, the Division checked this lorry.   


Accordingly this stock of explosives which had been kept cleverly concealed was recovered.
