Police arrest 2 foreign job fraudsters

Police arrested 2 suspects who promised jobs in Canada and tried to cheat unsuspected job seekers.

The fraudsters, residents of Ambalangoda and Anguruwella had promised a job in Canada and planned to cheat 600 thousand rupees from a resident in Jaffna.

Police Media Spokesman said that the duo was arrested while receiving the money from the job seeker in Colombo yesterday.
