Munchee has been named as ‘Sri Lanka’s Number One Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) Brand’ by the Brand Footprint Report, which is a global study of winning brands in the FMCG space conducted by Kantar Worldpanel.
Brand Footprint Report considered brands of 44 countries across the globe on sectors including Food, Beverage, Health and Beauty and Home Care.
This year, the panel added Sri Lanka into its list. It looked at about 15,000 brands and has named Munchee as the leading brand in the island.
Speaking about the success parent company of Munchee, Ceylon Biscuits Limited’s (CBL) Group Director/Head of Marketing and Sales Nandana Wickramage said, “As a home-grown, much loved leading brand, Munchee has achieved not only product and process excellence but also brand marketing excellence, closely engaging consumers across a variety of sustainable parameters.”
