Onion+farmers+complain+as+prices+drop

Onion farmers are facing hardships as prices of local big onions dropped to between Rs. 40-60 per kilo.

Management at the Dambulla Economic Center said it has received one million kilo grams of big onions.

Farmers anticipate an increase of Rs. 80-90 per kilo.
