Rs. 350 million to solar power state buildings

All state buildings will be solar powered from today.

The programme will commence at the Ministry of Finance under its first phase.

The main objective of the programme is to transform all state buildings to energy efficient mediums, such as solar power, within the next two years.

Rs. 350 million was allocated for the programme.
