Russia to enhance economic ties.

Russia is to enhance its support to Sri Lanka in the New Year in many fields including trade, energy, economic and socials sectors. 


Accordingly a Russian nuclear power team with scientists will arrive in January to study Sri Lanka’s energy sector outlook


Sri Lanka-Russia bilateral cooperation has been growing from strength to strength since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1957.
