Turkey to help develop the East

Ambassador of Turkey in Colombo pledged his country's support to develop tourism, agriculture and livestock in the Eastern Province at a recent meeting with PC Minister of Agriculture, Animal Production and Development, Rural Industries Development, Fisheries and Tourism.

Ambassador promised to visit the province shortly with his team to identify areas for investment and development.

The Ambassador said that his government was keen on extending all possible assistance and cooperation towards the development of the province.
