SL Team To Leave For Asia Cup On Saturday

The Sri Lanka national cricket team will leave for Bangladesh to participate in the Asia Cup Tournament on Saturday (20th). The national team will tour Bangladesh from February 20 to March 6.

Defending champions Sri Lanka will kick start the Asia Cup title defense in Bangladesh on the 25th of February. The tournament will be played in Twenty20 format for the first time and all 11 matches including the final will be played at Sher-e Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

This year’s Asia Cup will be the 13th edition of the series that takes place once in two years, and will feature Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, in addition to one qualifying country from among Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.
