The ECB has confirmed that England's cricketers will provisionally host India for a five Test series next summer in addition to limited overs series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

The ICC World Test Championship final is currently set to take place in June 2021, after which England's home summer will start rolling with a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. Matches are scheduled to be played at Durham, The Oval and Bristol, beginning on Tuesday, 29 June, 2021.

Sri Lanka have lost their previous two bilateral ODI series in England in 2016 and 2018, though they beat the hosts during the group stage of ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019, thanks largely to contributions from Angelo Mathews and Lasith Malinga.

The women's team are set to host ODI and T20I series against South Africa and New Zealand.

The provisional schedule for England men includes a three match ODI series against Sri Lanka, three 50-over matches and three T20s against Pakistan, as well as the five Tests against India.

In addition a historic tour to Pakistan has also been confirmed today by the two cricket boards.

The ECB has confirmed that more fixtures could be arranged, including Test cricket, pending the ICC's decision about the World Test Championship final, currently set to take place in early June.
