Royal Challengers Bangalore beat SunRisers Hyderabad in a close match with Shahbaz Nadeem dismissing Jonny Bairstow, Manish Pandey and Abdul Samad in one over (17th) to bring back RCB in the game.

RCB make a turn around to win the match by six runs as SRH managed only 143/9 in their allotted 20 overs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 149/8 and SunRisers Hyderabad responded with 143/9.

SunRisers Hyderabad were 96/1 in the 13th over with 54 to get from 38 balls but collapsed to 143/9.

With 35 needed from 24, Kohli gave the ball to Shahbaz Ahmed. And he removed Jonny Bairstow the first ball. Bairstow went for a slog sweep only to top-edge it. The ball went miles up but only a few yards long, de Villiers shouted "mine" so that the bowler is not in the way and he took it tumbling forward near the forward square leg region.

On the next ball, Manish Pandey too tried a big hit but managed the outer half of the bat. Harshal Patel pouched him at short third man. Suddenly, the required rate is over ten and slip in sight.

Abdul Samad had little time to make a difference in the last game but here he was promoted to No. 5. He too went for a slog sweep on the second ball only to sky it over the bowler's head. A caught-and-bowled and the RCB were ahead. The SRH's win probability went from 80.83 to 37.49 after that one over.

Warner: A very big bitter pill to swallow. Obviously Maxi batted well, but our bowlers did well to restrict them. Look, it was just about building a partnership...and I was quite disappointed with how we went - cross-batted shots against left-arm orthodox. It just hurts. We have another three games here, the wickets are going to get better here. We need to try to take powerplay wickets and need to have one big partnership in the middle. The last four games here the team batting second should've won the game. Last night's game was an example and we played an identical game.
