Things cannot be changed overnight says Sanath Jayasooriya

Former Sri Lankan Skipper & Parliamentarian Sanath jayasooriya states that he is ready to face any challenge as the New Chairman of the Cricket Selection Committee.

The official tenure of Ashantha De Mel who is the current Chairman of the Cricket Selection Committee is due to expire this month.

It is reported that a list containing the names of 11 prospectiv candidates had been intimated to the Minister of Sports for his perusal.

5 candidates have been selected off the list while Sanath Jayasooriya has been appointed the committee's Chairman.
