Sri Lanka v Bangladesh 3rd ODI: Bangladesh win thriller to level series

Friday, 29 March 2013 - 8:44

Bangladesh chased down a rain revised target of 183 with six balls to spare making 184 for seven in 26 overs to win by three wickets under the Duckworth-Lewis method in a rain affect third one-day international against Sri Lanka at Pallekelle yesterday.

They were 78-1 in 13.4 overs when a lengthy rain delay caused a revision of the original target of 303.

The three-match was tied 1-1 after Sri Lanka won the first match in Hambantota while the second was abandoned because of rain.

Nasir Hossain steered Bangladesh to their first ODI win in Sri Lanka in 16 attempts remaining unbeaten on 33 off 27 balls with six boundaries.
