Sri Lanka’s Anuradha Cooray placed 14th with a timing of 02 hours 17 minutes and 53 seconds in the London Marathon.


Over 35,000 runners took part in the marathon.


Ethiopian Tsegaye Kebede won the men’s race, chasing down Kenya’s Emmanuel Mutai in the closing stages to cross the line first in front of Buckingham Palace.
