Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians beat Kings XI Punjab by 4 runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai yesterday, as the hosts registered the 6th victory in this year's IPL.

 

Punjab's run chase never really took off as a disciplined Mumbai bowlers continued to take wickets at a regular intervals to leave the David Hussey side struggling.

 

Meanwhile, Sanju Samson smashed his way to a superb 63 and Brad Hodge conjured up a crucial 32-run cameo as Rajasthan Royals held their nerves to humble formidable Royal Challengers Bangalore by four wickets in a thrilling IPL match yesterday.
