Chanaka Welagedara replaced by Dilhara Lokuhettige for the ICC Champions Trophy

Chanaka+Welagedara+replaced+by+Dilhara+Lokuhettige+for+the+ICC+Champions+Trophy

Sri Lanka Cricket states that due to an ankle injury, Chanaka Welagedara has been replaced by Dilhara Lokuhettige for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy to be played in England.

The Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage has approved the above replacement.

SLC have written to the ICC Event Technical Committee regarding this replacement.

 The replacement of a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee before the replacement player can be officially added to the squad.
